48cm to 52cm does that sound right for a 5ft3 rider?

You'd struggle for 5ft3 and 52, defo looking at 48. I'm 5'7 and ride 52 (and could go down to 51). Just got my partner (also 5'3) a bike and 48s seem pretty rare round these parts owing to preponderance of male forumites, all the best with search.

I’d started to suspect 52 might be too big since my pal who rides a 54 is considerably taller than my wife.

48’s do seem few and far between on the forum…

Anything out there?!
