Bought a road frame from eBay recently. Looked good but on closer inspection noticed a fair bit of paint bubbling near the bb area. Scraped some of the paint away and discovered a chalky residue on the aluminium underneath - see photos. Looks like corrosion where water has got in. Is this salvagable?
Rest of the frame in excellent condition. Frame itself is about 10 years old. Thanks.
