Local motorcycle mechanic's new assistant 'won' a Snap-On Seiko auto the other day. I told him to wear it not covet it. I think he'll leave it in the box hoping to return on it in the future. Either is fine with me, but I think he'll miss out on years of happiness if he doesn't just wear it as a daily beater.
In the mean time, since replacing the battery the Breitling Meca-Quartz has barely lost a second in months. I guess it was just dirty/loose battery contacts.
