Ha OK I see! Tell them to check FB market place regularly there's quite a few Tern that come up regularly and I reckon with winter approaching there'll be more

First day using the Bullit commuting with tools along the beach. Initial impressions are that my cockpit needs some rise and less reach!
If anyone has a stem in 40mm 31.8 flavour hmu

Why don't you just put your saddle rails in the centre of the seatpost clamp instead?
-
• #12455
Because I’d like a shorter stem as well

Nice find @umop3pisdn thanks
@Tenderloin, lids (covers) are available separately, on the fjallraven website https://www.fjallraven.com/uk/en-gb/bags-gear/fjallraven-specialized/sf-cave-lid-pack

I just returned mine as I went for the red and it looked odd next to the colour of my bike. Have re-ordered in green which I hope better matches.

The Cool Caves should come with a net that fits the top, won't keep the weather out though

yeah, I think it's a good summer option but in the rain it might be as much use as a water butt as a pannier!

Conversely - they come with a bung so ideal for filling with ice and beers...

Hey. I'm kind of upset that my bike looks the same as Muli to everyone. Although it has larger cargo compartment, lower center of mass and bigger wheel in front. Maybe you can give me some ideas on what I need to change to look differently? Thank you

I would ignore the asthetic similarities and focus on functional differentiation. Develop a rain cover that is aero and performant (game changer for hauling kids in wet weather.) A flat deck option for transporting bulky goods (like a fold down flat deck vs current basket option. And a really good integrated kickstand. Again make or brake for happy living with a cargo bike. But the bike for sure looks cooler then the muli.

My wifes new bullitt is mostly done. Custom build from a local shop. Its a balanced budget build: Electric front drive, micrsoshift advent, custom narrow box and cover (kids rain cover is the next project)

Rain covers - who can make one?

On this - had the sides down on my Bullitt canopy this morning now that it's colder. Felt a fair bit quicker which isn't really a particularly revolutionary aerodynamic concept, but I wonder how much faster the Bullit could be with a more optimised canopy shape (if not already)

We are not big fans of the stock bullitt canopy. Wanted to be able to go cargo to kid fast as well as be narrower then the canopy (single seat only) going to attempt to do a sprung tent style setup like on the ua r&m etc. mostly cause light weight and simple enough for me to piece together

Righto! Waiting for some “I can do this”

I for one wish to see you in a wind tunnel on the Bullitt

Not saying no, but would need a cardboard pattern once it's already being set up with the support structure. Sounds like a lot of things to go wrong.

It's not an entirely crazy proposal, there must be a lot of opportunity to reduce drag even at 16mph

You could always give a boat upholsterer a try, I know our local one loves making random stuff for a change. I guess they all like something a little different to get stuck into.

Once a TTer, always a TTer
For a friend, not me. They are in Spain though.
We have the grizl electric and a trailer which works really well for us.
Got yourself a bargain there!
