  • I think a change to silver headset and spacers would make a big difference, that’s the bit that’s most jarring to me!

  • Finally all together. Annoyingly it needs a long reach calliper at the rear so I had to use a basic Shimano. Any ideas for a solution would be appreciated. Just need to chop the steerer.

  • Niiice. What is the tubing?

Have you ridden it yet? How is it?

  • TRP RG 957? (brakes)

  • It's Reynolds 853. I need to dial in the fit but the first impressions on the ride home are very positive.

  • Yeah, they were my first thought, but it bugs me that they're not Campag. If I remembered I could have asked Winston Vaz to move the bridge before it was repainted,

  • Reunited after many years

  • Annoyingly it needs a long reach calliper

I wish my frame had this so I could use 30c tyres without them rubbing on the calliper all the time. Too bad its probably impossible to find a long reach carbon fork though

  • Now actually functioning

  • I had a carbon Whisky fork on my old All City that took long drop calipers and fit 32c tyres and guards. They do exist!

  • Still so good

  • I love that black to green fade

  • There's also the Deda Black Rain fork, though it has an alu steerer.

  • Cycling in the tropics- at least it’s warm.

  • At least I can fix the jaunty saddle angle.

  • Had that happen with my handlebars
Bike was "together" for months... forgot I was as going to finish the bars latter
    oO
    O

  • I fixed it and it happened again on tbe way back so I may need to take the clamp apart and treat it to some grip paste

  • File the pad mounting slots longer, if you only need a few mm?

  • @Hobo bit of a dredge but if you're still trying to sort long reach brakes on a campag groupset then check out BDOP offset brake pad holders - lowers the pad by 7mm.

  • Your saddle looks like it was setup correctly and then the bike had a crash and turned into a lay back.

  • Nice! Most elegant solution, have to remember that option.

Some cool bits from that bloke; you can even talk to Bob Dopolina at bikeforums.net.

  • This seems like a backwards question to ask, but can anyone recommend a 25.4 or 26.0mm drop bar with a similar shape to the Ritchey Neo Classic? A lot of classic classic bars drop into the curve very quickly, leaving that dip transition with modern shifters. Any ideas welcome, cheers!

  • Zoom Alutech racing handlebar (25,4)?

  • Careful, I bought a pair of these for the above spec and they have insane reach! Went from a 130mm 26.0mm stem to a 110mm 25.4mm to bring the levers closer and undid it all with those handlebars! If you want a pair in 41cm wide rattle canned matt black you can have them for postage!
