Been using Lewisham cyclery for stuff recently (full service on a term had) and they've been great.

I have the GSD. I'm 6' 2" and it fits well. Set up with giant cargo bag on the back, works very well for throwing odd and sods in without much attention to straps etc. For larger bulkier stuff it may not be idea. I run without basket as it won't fit in my shed and get on with it fine. In SE6 if you want a test.

Big Apple or Urban Contact for acoustic, Big Ben Plus or Metroload for electric.
-
• #12439
Yes I knew it was a ridiculous idea even as I was typing it!
-
• #12440
I’ll throw my vote in for contact urban, - or schwalbe pickup for electric

Depends!
I am very happy with Schwalbe super Moto X.
Basically the same as big Apple but a bit lighter.
I really like that they are fat, loads of contact area is great when stopping. I basically have fun at every red light. -

£5k is economical? What a world.
-
• #12448
A HSD could be a fair bit cheaper if you only need 1 kiddo or lower weight cargo
-
• #12449
Didn't realise what that much, thought they were less.
Ps not for me! Wish I had 5k.

I got a second hand HSD with belt drive etc for around £2k and less than 1k miles on it. Although might be tricky to ship to Spain for most folks who are selling from the UK
Forum or LBS? It’s the sort of job they could do in Deen’s on the roundabout in Beckenham.
