  • That is a handsome frame

  • This is lovely. Luckily (sadly), it's too small for me but have a bump!

  • Very desirable. I note that the frame can take guards. What are clearances like?
    25/28mm?

  • Pics of clearance with 25’s.

Could easily take 28’s, possibly 32’s (though would be a squeeze with guards).

  • Also, popped some bars and a saddle on to give an impression of how it looks built up.

  • This is lovely. Fortunately too big for me. Glws!

  • I have a 1972 version…classic design…what year was yours made? Mine is 531DB but is yours Columbus SL?

  • Fab looking frame, just out of curiosity with the over bb guides, sloping fork crown and long campag rear dropouts is it mid 1970's?

  • Might be late 1970s or even early 80s…mine has a flat fork crown.

  • I have a 1972 version…classic design…what year was yours made? Mine is 531DB but is yours Columbus SL?

I don't know anything about the history of the frame, or the tubing it is constructed from.

It's been in my collection for a while. I have decided to fund all future bike-related purchases via sales, so this is going to converted into something else.

  • I remember going to Condor c1978 and these were available in Columbus SL with a sloping Italian fork crown….possibly built by Tom Board…what is the serial number? If it has a V then it was made by Vic Edwards.

Mine was intended as a short distance (up to 25 miles) TT frame but mine is much smaller…intended for a single chainset and no drinks cage brazing.

  • Serial number is V578, so looks like Vic Edwards.

  • One of Britain’s best ever frame builders…had it been smaller etc etc….a Vic Edwards Condor Baracchi for £285 is a steal and it is 1978…bargain for a tall person…just look at the seat cluster and it is lugless…love it…work of art!

  • Fillet-brazed, so likely Dave Yates's handiwork. Lovely condition!

  • No…the V is indicative of Vic Edwards and Dave Yates wasn’t making frames for Condor in 1978.

  • Ah OK, I stand corrected. Also, Idk Tom built complete frames for Condor? He built one for me, but that was 10 years later and not through Condor. I still have it.

  • £5.00 off, this weekend only

  • arrrgh.

  • I have been away, and now I'm back.

Obviously the recent £5.00 off this weekend special offer has now expired, but worry not: I am now introducing, for this weekend only, a £10.00 off super deal!

    Buy now, do not delay.

  • I have a Campagnolo 'Century Finish' Groupset for sale which would look fantastic on this frame.

    Just Sayin'.

  • Reduced to £274.0

  • £265.00

  • £250.00
