  • Just found this at the bottom of a crate in our workshop. Brass fittings are a bit corroded but otherwise looks in good nick. Blade doesn’t lock but springs very firmly into position.

    I don’t know anything about knives like this, likely to be real? Worth anything? Happy to pass it on to someone who’ll make use of it if it’s of interest.

  • Looks like a legit one to me. Similar levels of detail to mine.

    Technically I think Laguiole, is just a style from that region rather than a registered TM.

    No idea what a 2nd hand one is worth. But a new one isn't cheap.

  • Looks like a cheaper copy of them. Definitely not from one of the expensive knifemakers. No maker’s stamp on the blade, and the handle is missing the shepherd’s cross.

    All the same, nice for someone
