  • Spare tyres in stock.. Not sure where they came from..

  • Update, I went back down to brothers last night for some more mods.. new bracket to be made and fitted to mount battery and motor controller.. A new "more sealed" battery has been ordered for it.. but will mount in the same location..

  • New cut-off switch fitted .. because you know. safety first!! this is great fun.. I took it for a test ride and it managed 29.5mph down hill and a steady 16-17mph up hill.. It was very sketchy and wobbly at those speeds.. With the new battery installed it should do approx 40mins completely flat out.. Not sure on power, motor is 250W, controller is good for 600W and the battery is 36V instead on 24v. Also we put a Draggy GPS box on it and it was doing 0-10mph launches in just under 2 secs.. ready for the drag season I think!!! Next stage will probably be side panels and tidy up the wiring..

  • Got new front tyre and also stripdown of the fork.. as you can see not much of a bottom bearing cage left, so this will be replaced and maybe a quick coat of black paint on the forks.. chrome is too far gone..

Also a 800W motor controller has been ordered and motor will be swapped out for 350w instead of 250w. Also probably try a smaller tooth front cog for for wheelie ability..

  • Needs ærœbarzZ!!11

  • Not a huge amount happening, "Big Tuna" has blown several motors and controllers.. Current setup is 1kw motor controller on a 550w motor running 36V.. it is great fun and really is feisty on the throttle.. she will lift the wheel on launch.. My brother was home and used it for an entire week.. some of his best highlights caught on CCTV..

  • What could go wrong!!

    NOTHING could go wrong.

  • A lithium battery made of silver and red gaffer tape? I’m definitely in now!

  • Big Tuna looks like fun! I reckon you could get that MSVA tested as a scooter and beat most things away from the lights.

  • What a thread.

  • this is fkn rad!

  • Just stumbled upon this. So rad.

  • this is how i would attempt to take my life on a bike :P

  • having done 29mph in the dark with a head torch on, on something that folds and has 12" wheels.. I nearly did..

  • This is stupid and irresponsible. Awesome.

  • So so so cool, please make it do 50mph

  • Some photos of "Big Tuna" in current format..
36V 10Ah battery, eBay 1000W controller, had to adjust frame to take slightly bigger motor (550W) and then extend the chain tensioner. Has emergency cut-off and key switch..

  • I love this, but I worry the escalation of motor power is going to lead to a structural failure in a dramatic fashion.

    Still rad tho.

  • Na, she was built for Torque and wheelies.. :-)

  • The stable of dreams.. LOL
