  • looking good!!
you really wanna use that stem? not a full black one? thomsons are awesome, but maybe too chunky?

  • As with a lot of the parts I just transferred them over from another build. I agree it doesn't totally work and I think a shorter one would be more ergo. And matte black maybe

  • I'd think about an internal cam QR for the rear, also using with the QR lever on the non drive side.

  • Thank for the tips. I actually have some non-QR skewers on order (the ones you do up with a hex key). I'll see if they are able to get a better grip and if not will try the internal cam QRs

  • Where pics?
    Needs a nice skinny stem.
For slipping seatpost I recommend some carbon paste.

  • I think I fixed the seatpost slip. Gently tightened the clamp with the post removed and it became more circular. If it comes back I'll try the paste

  • Should the outer for the rear brake be in one piece and go along the top tube through the guides?

  • You've passed my test! Yes, it should, well spotted. I messed up

  • Are your brake pads on upside down?

  • Great looking bike!

  • Hex key skewers seem to have solved the rear wheel slipping. Also received shorter stem. It's a bit of a chode but comfy. Shorter drop brakes also arrived but only had time to install the front. Feels like its slowly coming together
