I'm intrigued, what's the story here - some kind of conversion?
-
• #7928
Yes. Frame had knackered paint and dropouts were chewed up from a collapsed chain ring accident.
I want to give it thru axle dropouts, seat tube cutaway and internal cable routing. -

I got my powder coating setup up and running. Very pleased with thia first outcome. I'll practice some more and then that will be something I can offer for clients

At least she collects rocks!
My eldest has taken a liking to acorns, mirabeller, apples and other organics road side finds.
It can get sticky and stinky quite quickly -

We got that issue as well. The headbadge on this bike is a starfish, which was found relatively fresh. That stunk for a month before it dried up. It lives in our kitchen now ðŸ«

My smallest found a dead badger the other day. After some serious inspection and introspection, she turned to me and said 'Can we take it home?'
To be clear: we did not take it home

• #7940
Because you didn't have a frame bag to put it in?
-
• #7942
tijmen doesn't believe in odor free frame bags, just use a normal frame bag with a smell proof bag inside it if you need to transport a corpse.
-
• #7943
Lolol
Surely @BareNecessities has a stench-proof method of carrying a corpse on a bike?

This taking a weird direction now

I'm afraid I leave my dead badgers ( who all died from natural causes! ) in the forest
I only keep live ones in the framebag...

I have no idea what thread I am in any longer
I was prepared to scrap the rear end prior to embarking on it. But everything was very sturdy it cut very nicely. It looks fairly precise as well, but we shall see once it's in the jig with new dropouts
