It was an unusual situation for sure though. In that you have the top 3 all from the same team, all potentially able to win the stage (though Kuss least likely of those tbf)

You can leave movistar, but movistar doesent leave you

Cool that Bahrain are working for TJV, like they need the help.

Perfect lead out for a 1-2-3 Jumbo.
-
• #47733
And as if by magic, Landa's dropped and Jumbo proceed easily to an entirely predictable victory. Snore.

• #47734
This is quite crazy - fans and fog.

• #47735
Poor Kuss…

Bastards.

• #47737
I know...best riders etc...but booo!
-
• #47738
LOL, now Landa's pacing Kuss back up to the leading duo.
-
• #47739
Well done, GCKuss.

Don't think I've ever cheered for someone to sprint for third place so loudly
-
• #47741
They definitely abandoned him today. That was poor.

What a bunch of snakes

I want Kuss to win GC but I also imagine they’ve all agreed that the strongest rider at the end should take GC - what they’ve been doing up to now is getting enough of a gap on the rest they can have a bit of in-house punch up at the end.
Sadly Kuss showed today he wasn’t strong enough to stick with them.

• #47744
I think when they went Landa was still a threat for the Stage. Does it mean as much/ anything if the GC is gifted to you? It’s a weird situation.
-
• #47745
Seems unnecessary for Jumbo to not support GC Kuss when they are trouncing the competition. If it becomes an issue where Jumbos position is threatened then I would understand that whoever is strongest should go. So far we have two stages where Jumbo has not acted in support of the jersey. Non comprende

Nasty business.
Poor Sepp.
-
• #47747
Kuss carries jumbo leaders and this is how they repay him smh.
-
• #47748
No gifts. First rule of pro cycling.
-
• #47749
I don’t understand. Is it a gift to assist the leader jersey in your team to not lose time at the expense of maybe not increasing your almost four minute lead over the next contender in GC? It isn't like Sepp closed shop and was jeopardizing the situation for his team

Quite like Rog normally but watching those couple of post race interviews afterwards he came across as a bit of a cunt tbh
Exactly. Kuss wasn't isolated and when Roglic saw he was being caught by Ayuso and Mas he knocked off the pace and Kuss got back on.
