• Marin Bear Valley SE 1996 - Nice lightweight steel frame with paint in great condition for it's age. A mix of original and retro-fitted parts making up a 3x7 drivetrain. Nice pull back bars for cruising about. STX hubs on Mavic 238 rims. Tyres hardly used, slick tread down the middle and some grip on the outsides.

Was setting it up for a friend but the frame was a bit large for them. The frame 17.5" CTC (as Marin used to measure them) or 19" CTT. The top tube is 22.5" long. I'm 5'10 and it's a good size for me... I'd say anyone from about 5'7 to 6'0 would be a good fit on this one. The saddle height was a bit lower than I'd normally have it set to ride on.

    NOW SOLD

  • Really nice. What cantis are those?

  • I believe that the are Marin cantilevers. They were spec’d as OE equipment on certain years of Marins. I’m sure they were made by Tektro though.

  • Yeah Marin Lite Cantis - they're original spec for the bike, work pretty nicely.

  • Any takers at £180?

  • £165 anyone?

  • This bike 1 - 2 years ago would have sold for 20p within minutes.

Glws for a sick bike 🔥

  • I'm pretty keen. Will DM you
