IPT currently rank above DSM, AG2R, Arkea, Uno-X and Astana. Mainly due to Woods, Gee and Strong but Bennett might get some decent opportunities there.

Reports that Nathan Van Hooydonck has had a heart attack whilst driving, crashed into five other cars and is in a critical condition in hospital.
-
• #47705
Jesus that's awful. And the ghouls are going to be all over it.
-
• #47706
Well that's terrifying for him and his family.
It's amazing to think that heart conditions can go unnoticed in riders that are so constantly and closely monitored.

Yikes, GCN is up for sale but where race coverage rights sit exactly is not clear

hope Kirby is protected

Did you watch todays stage!?!

I can put up with the random rambling nonsense but today he very significantly annoyed me! Not getting the time gap and calculation correct when Jonas was up front and it really effected the last few Km. As I kept doubt my own thinking that Jonas wasn’t going to take Red

Just caught up with the highlights (stupid 4pm meetings). WTF were the Jumbo tactics about?
-
• #47713
Winning the race.

Is this article trying to say they pissed £10 million away on the app/website? Because GCN+ is easily the worst streaming service I’ve ever used.
-
• #47715
Really? Compared to Ironman, Redbull TV, Outside TV, Eurosport player, I’d say it comes out quite well.
-
• #47716
Well, obviously everyone else played into their hands by not doing anything, but the Rog attack was a bit weird no? I suppose Kuss said he was fine so grab a few more seconds when you can.
-
• #47717
Nobody knows how Kuss is going to go in the next 2 days but now if he does crack the others have an extra minute to make up on Vingegaard - Jumbo are in an even stronger position. Now, if Vingegaard attacks tomorrow, that's a different story. I would have thought they'd have expected more of a chase from behind anyway so it probably went better than expected.

Around the same time, Discovery shut down the Eurosport player and phased out that method of streaming live sports.
If that's true, what have I been watching? And paying for? It's not the GCN app.
-
• #47719
Yeah I don't get how many people can't comprehend basic strategy to get UAE to give Kuss an easier ride to the finish, get another stage win all the while strengthening JV's GC position.
"He's attacking his own team mate!!" etc.
-
• #47720
I think it was US only, Eurosport in Europe continued.
-
• #47721
Hope Kuss holds on today, but there's all the talk of the "team win" etc.
I hope JV and Kuss just follow Aysuo and Mas today, and maybe let Roglic go in the final KMs...
... But I think Ving will go for it though, as much as he probably likes Kuss, he's not won a Vuelta, clearly has the legs to do so, and I don't think you get to that level of cycling without having a bit of a win at all costs mentality, especially when it's just a decision as to if you fancy it or not
-
• #47722
If Kuss had had a mechanical when both the others had left him, what was he going to do? They would have lost a place on the podium for no reason. I get the stage win and Vingo move, but Roglic going as well was unusual.
Anyway - will hopefully be exciting today. I hope we get one of the slow-mo 'sprints' at the top. -

Get assistance from Valter who was still with the group.
-
• #47724
Ah - OK. Thought he'd been dropped by then.
-
• #47725
He came back when the pace dropped off.
What you talking about - he's there to support Froome for 2024
