I’m in Cairns, Queensland at the moment riding my Raaw Madonna, for the first time since I left the UK. Probably for the first time this year - I’d need to check.
I have been riding my Raaw Jibb most weekends, and it’s really interesting to me how different the character of two objectively so similar bikes can be. I find I have a lot more confidence on the Madonna, although the speed and terrain that make it start to really come alive simply doesn’t exist in Singapore so the Jibb is a better choice there.
I have missed riding this bike, I shall have to find opportunities to ride it more often - we’re coming into the window of time where Chiang Mai will be neither on fire or soaked, but apparently some of the best trails have not been rebuilt since they collapsed during heavy rains a couple of years ago, so it’ll be interesting to see what trails are running.
Has anyone else got the latest generation Fox Transfer post and found that it creaks like a bastard?
