when i needed these myself, i noticed a few other folks have asked around to borrow presses and setters. i ended up deciding to make one, but had to buy a full length of PVC, so i decided to buy enough to make some extras.
i made the setters longer than most (if not all) stock steerer tubes.
also spent some time with a sander leveling out a "good" side of the setter, so the race should seat nicely (the pic distorts it a bit).
these are for 1 1/8 headsets.
the press can be used for 1" of course, but the race setter would only work for 1 1/8.
