i’d really like to get out to wales or FoD in october, has anyone got any plans I can tag along with or is interested in a trip?

I have the same one. A neodymium magnet added to the one already on there pretty much stops it falling off ever again.

Thanks! I'll give that a try

Or a conference-style ID card lanyard with a retractable clippy thing, which you clip around the hose and attach to the bag, so you can pull it up to drink and it winds itself back to the waist position. Haven't tried it, saw it on a youtube review of that bag.

Time to take up a less dangerous sport like basejumping?
I can’t really talk having concussed myself and broken a tooth out in one mtb crash, broken a couple of ribs in another, huge haematoma that took months to go down in another. But you have my sympathy.

I am 100% that the epic Evo would've just ploughed through that one no worries.
I'm also sure that that sorta crash, 9 time out of 10 you'd do the blues Brothers thing and dust yourself off.
This was a small rock I didn't spot on a green trail using the gravel bike . Maybe 10kph. Instant OTB onto elbow out front.
I hereby deduce that suspension is good and 650b is the inferior wheel size.

I was riding XC trails yesterday on my Enduro bike and was walking sections before riding them- double black diamond XC appears to be A Thing here, and I’m surprised that XC bikes survive some of the features.

What was tricky? Rocks and dust is the usual Australia thing.

Very narrow, steep, off camber and loose into mandatory drop onto rock garden, with a significant fall if you miss the landing.

Current gen of XC bikes are pretty much what early 29er enduro bikes were, maybe a bit longer / slacker even.

• #27017
Pff I would go wayyy faster!
-
• #27018
Haha yes me too. 9.8m/s²

WC level XC course is probably trickier than others?
Also: we need pix

New bike time for me, first full sus in a very long time.
Only 120mm/110mm travel but that's plenty for my riding. Now I just need to sell the other bikes and frames that it's replacing!

Well. Let's just hope it doesn't get any worse from here. On the positive side pain has been moderate when immobilised so far and the outlook is positive.
I am a tad disappointed that it'll be stainless instead of titanium but hey ... I didn't get that option
I have this hip pack that I quite like, but the hose connects with a magnet and unclicks ALL THE TIME, it's so annoying. Does someone have a tip for a different system I can replace the magnet with?
