I knew I wasn't going mad.
But you're right, I searched for it and couldn't find it. The game used to be a bit messy with street names missing and locations not tagged, despite the stipulations of the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk.
Luckily the modern game, though anti-septic and relentlessly commercial, is better ordered. -

Bring back "prison rules" bike tag I say.

For future reference, where did I go wrong searching to check if my new tag had been done already?
You didn't check the map. It's nearly complete at least for the first couple of years. (Don't tell Skully we have one, though. He'd be shocked.)
It goes back to what I used to say quite often--everybody should always clearly give the location of the old tag so that it's searchable, as we're not maintaining the map any more (and search is now much, much better than it was in vBulletin).

It's been done at least twice, and was in fact one of the earliest tags, first by @Sumo, but he got the old tag wrong, and then by @bq.
Objection, your honour. The facts of the case are that Sumo's attempt was invalid, and it was rightfully and robustly rejected by the bike tag community of the time. This, in turn, allowed BQ to get a tag in. The fact that BQ included a photo of the invalid tag in his effort is irrelevant.
It was done again a couple of years later, but I can't remember by whom.
The fact that the prosecution is presenting hearsay as evidence only serves to further highlight the weakness of their case. My client is innocent, and I move to have the case dismissed.

That’s a blast from the past. I remember doing a 3 place tag in order to get the game back on track.
Still ride that hipster Cinelli too.

That Cinelli is rad

I did check the map but didn't spot it on there. The map from the 1st page right? There's every chance I did something wrong of course.

That'll be why I wrote: '... but he got the old tag wrong ...' ...

Well, it's there. You must have just missed it.

Ahhhh, so it is. Either the image is broken or it's not loading for me for some reason. I thought it was in a slightly different spot on the map.
I'm going to dip out of work early and get a back up tag that isn't on the map and I can't see reference to anywhere. Unless someone gets to the retag before 2ish!

• #28638
I'm confused now. So you acknowledge Sumo's 2011 tag wasn't valid, but you're still giving ltc grief about checking the map? What am I missing?
Anyway, perhaps you're thinking about the the Mural Ride(s)?

I'm being a bit dopey, so sorry, but which one is the current tag?
I used to have a few Capris back in my early 20s

Haha, I just assumed that because I can't remember what happened 10 minutes ago, nobody in the world can remember something that happened 10 years ago.
