When I bought it was frame only, no forks. I was given a set to get me rolling but there’s not loads of clearance on them.

Sure, but doesn't it have a tapered headtube?

My goodness you are right. Been a few years since I built that thing up!

Does anyone know a retailer that is happy to the paper work for Ride to Work for some Light Bicycle / Farsport wheels. Have C2W scheme through employer but figuring kit rather than bike might be the way to go and wondering if other people have gone down that avenue?

I’ve been carrying two ride now for about 6 months for this very purpose. Still not needed to use them. Manage to get them two canisters multi tool in to this.
Will upload pic tomorrow

1995 called and asked for their RD back

They weren't brave enough to have cheap moulded ABS plastic cages in 1995...

They do look pretty funky, tbh.

700€ for a derailleur is quite a bargain

Looking to build some road wheels up probably going down the Light Bicycle route ordering rims rather thaqn wheelset and sourcing other parts here in the UK using Ride 2 Work potentially doing a dynamo build.
Question (probably first of many) is interested in hearing what rear hubs are recommended for something that needs to work with an ultegra style cassete. Am seeing big money for the likes of DT Swiss hubs but wondering if I'd be better going with something not so pricey particularly for something that's primarily for road use

As per @MicroDosed™ Bitex are good (I've got a set of LB wheels built up with them). Also have a set with novatec hubs

Anyone know of an open mould / OEM version of the Vitus Venon Evo?
I know they use Carbonda/Flybike for other models. Might be an in-house design, so happy to take reccs on anything similar.

Also been looking at these. Might be keen on a group buy / shipping split if it is a Carbonda etc

These Shimano group sets from China on eBay. What's going on?

Not about speed, it's just about having something to use if my tubeless setup fails and tpu take up a tiny amount of room compared to butyl.
I used one for exactly that purpose a few weeks ago. Additional complications were that I had to boot the tyre and it was on a tandem. It did what I needed and got us home.
I think it will work again in the same size tyre, but not in a smaller one as they stay stretched.
