I took Mrs M to see La Cage Aux Folles at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre on Saturday evening.
It was a sultry hot night, set and lighting designs superb, the costumes outrageous, 5 star reviews mostly from the Press, bar a few bitchy comments, but don’t let that put you off.
Some stand out performances, I’ll have to admit mancrush for Taylor Bradshaw one of the Cagalle / Albin’s maid / Georges’ butler
Absolute absurd joy and very camp, the whole premise around social construct and entitled children was as relevant today as it was in 1973
