  • Literally isn't. Place I go regularly has a lot of theft from us stands, they'd lost their last bike, so then got a new e bike. And a fagrabboiughit (yup). Locking only the seatpost.
    Pointed it out to them,they literally didn't understand how it wasn't locked.
    So politely moved it around in such a way to make it look more locked than it was. Then went to office securities desk and borrowed a spare company lock, put that in it and a very subtle note.

    Few weeks later, same again, put rhe spare lock on it and a separate note.
    Yesterday went and again wasn't locked. So just left it, can't fix stupid apparently! Few of my mates had also told them it was a very good lock but they weren't using it right.
    Today...... "my new ebike has been stolen, oh noes...."

    Like, literally what can you even do

  • When you were trying to explain to them that it wasn't locked, the best course of action would have been to "steal" it there and then.
