Holed exhaust needs fabricated replacement, oil leak - not investigated yet, nasty engine rattle on startup, knackered shocks, knackered brakes, broken air con, broken I-drive, cracked back bumper.
Nothing terminal for someone with the time and acumen to do it themselves.

Well WBAC value it at £1300 before they start marking down the faults so if you can give me £800 for it I would love someone to keep it going. It’s in Northampton.

Your timely reminder for wbac to take the car in dirty and if possible take it when it's dark.
They won't knock off value for dirt and it hides scratches. They also are allowed to add some value back on once they've marked it down so haggle -

Excellent stuff, thanks.

Heard something about how the commision that the assessors get for knocking money off is less than if you manage to stick them a few quid - don't know if that's true, not sure I'd be able to bring myself to attempt to bribe them...

Fucksake. Now the horn doesn't work. I did honk a pigeon earlier but now there's nothing. Is it possible I used up all the horn?
Haha, reminds me of a herbert clunkerdunk episode. First couple of minutes:

I am become death, FTW, etc. New car day. If you'd told me two months ago I'd be buying a turbodiesel I would've told you to fuck off. The road to hell is, etc.

Looks pretty necessary to conquer the suburbs. How else are you going to get from a to b on that super smooth tarmac?

This one's going on the beach and up mountains, that's why I bought it as a work vehicle. Once it's paid off in three years I hope there'll be an electric or hydrogen 4x4 available to replace it.
But snark away. 😋

Nice compact Ute there. I suppose it won't look too puny against a RAM or a F150...
When you get bogged at bribie island be sure to post pics😜
How does it drive?

That's the very first place I'll be taking it!! I'll snap some pics with the roos on the beach if I can.
It sounds like a truck but drives pretty nice. I took an Amarok and a Triton for a test drive before choosing the D-Max, they both felt much more car-like but quite boaty, the Isuzu felt much more solid and planted.
It's getting a run down to Lismore and back tomorrow, no rough stuff for its maiden voyage. It's so nice crossing the border into NSW, getting through the Gold Coast is a fucking nightmare.

When I handed my lease car in (home collection) I plied the collector with coffee, cake and chocolate... Not much time to video the car and she put down the alloy marks and bodywork scratches as road dirt.
Failed to doctor the mileage though which hurt lol

Spotted near me down the bottom of driveway looking distinctly unused: Pug 205 GTi 1.9. Maybe if I leave a note on the windscreen they will just give it to me?
