• I’m thinking of getting bike storage for the small front “garden” of my terraced house. Unfortunately it’s too small, and the wall too low, for something like the small Asgard

Any suggestions for other options? Ideally looking for something c.2m wide, no more than 70cm deep, and no more than 1.2m high (at the eaves). I just want something to keep the bikes sheltered from the rain, and hidden from street view.

I’ve found this BillyOh but the online reviews are mixed, at best, and it’s also probably too deep.

Picture of garden below. The tape measure is set at 70cm. My idea is to move the bins to closer to the path (alongside the front/pavement wall), and to have the storage either where the bins are currently, or perpendicular to them (i.e. running parallel to the front wall).

Any placement suggestions or other bright ideas welcome!

  • Bluum have done some custom projects where they've shoehorned shelters into small front gardens.

I got in touch with them for a bike shelter quote, and although they couldn't help me (the roof I want is too big for them to supply as self-assembly) their communication was excellent.

  • That looks like it could be ideal. Thank you! I’ll email them.

  • I received and put up my Bluum store this week. Very pleased with it! It’s small, but perfect for shielding my wife’s bike from the rain, and has room for at least one more. The child seat has to come off, but the store would have been too tall if I’d spec’d it to fit.
