Holy patronising bollocks, Batman. Ed has a creative way with analogy himself; there used to be a whole thread about it. He just doesn't always apply the same attention to what others type as to what he types, which has nothing to do with his hearing.

Analogy: just as owning a Ferrari automatically allows you to go fast; so does having money and power allow you to be powerful and perform powerful acts.
Ergo: we should not be surprised that a powerful individual can change the world.
Having said all of that, I do in fact agree with Ed that we should possibly be scared by it.
