I’ve cleaned everything up, but wondering whether a strip of helicopter tape where you can see it’s been fretting might be a good idea?
Otherwise I might put a thin layer of grease on the surface of the clamp that the post pivots on.

Singapore flies directly to ADL as well, doesn't it?

Yep, six hours forty five, everyone else has a stop somewhere so are around fourteen hours.

Well, if you need to plan your next trips I think I gave you all the info :)

I do indeed- thanks for that. I’m intending on checking out as much of Australia as I can, I’m considering maybe moving there next, but I’m in Singapore for at least two years.

(I picked Cairns as something of a recce as Crankworx Cairns is around the same time as my birthday, so I might go next year if this trip is fun).

Airline baggage policies finally made me care about weight for my mountain bikes.

Travel Insurance for MTB trips? I've used Snowcard Adventure policy before. Any other suggestions? Needs to cover £££ of bike kit and me falling down a mountain etc

Yellow card. Insureandgo. Dogtag.

Dogtag was the one I couldn't remember. I'll check them out.

Yellow Jersey coverage is comprehensive and very cheap, sadly they won't cover me any longer as I'm not UK resident but I'd sign up again in a flash if they did offer international residents coverage.

I don't like them so much since they wouldn't cover me previously along with them taking over Pedalcover. But I probably should've at least got a quote. I ended up going with Dogtag over Snowcard as they were about £300 cheaper for what appeared to be similar coverage.

My coverage dropped by around 2/3rds over the Pedal Cover price I was paying.
I’ve had to go with SafetyWing now.

You really should have Maydena on your list if you're in Aus :)

I so want to go to tassie. I hear good things about Derby and Queenstown as well.

Danny Macaskill edition pedals will definitely mean I can suddenly bunnyhop entire mountains in my path...

I have put a bottle cage bolt in there for now but that’s not something I’m willing to ride properly with.

Dropped the bike off with the local bike shop- they’re unsure when they can get to it as their mechanics are all out riding today because it’s a rare day due to the WC DH track being open.
Which I now can’t ride. Oh well.

Could be worse. I just
shatteredsnapped my humerus. On a gravel ride, mind -
• #26999
Sorry to hear that- shattered sounds bad.

Yup. Shattered might not be accurate wording but it hurts
