I'm still not convinced by these larger electric cargo vehicles. All that separates them from being an electric car is the fact that you have to turn the pedals. In an urban environment you have the same speed, the same load capacity etc. However, the driver has almost no protection in the case of a collision, which could be fairly significant given the vehicle weight and where they have to be driven.
I know they have many environmental benefits, but it seems like the driver is at a lot more risk than they otherwise would be.
