Nothing much more than that.
You can spare some metal by starting with lemon juice and wire wool - it'll take surface rust off really well.
Do use primer, do use wet n dry between layers and do consider either a gloss black or a gloss clear coat to match original paintwork.

I forgot to mention... If you have T-Cut or similar then you can use it following the final layers of paint to blend with surrounding original paintwork. Satisfyingly seamless!
