Yeah it’s very cheap. A lot of it is laser cut plastic. But then it’s also quite interesting for that reason - as it was designed to be the first mechanical movement to be entirely made by robot. No hand processes at all.
In a £100 watch it’s a nice curio. At £340 they can jog the fuck on.
Edit: that breakdown is amazing, haha.
Not that surprising but a tear down of the Sistem51 movement shows just how cheap it is.

The escapement wheel and fork is all plastic for example.
