Shouldn't be a problem; in my experience it only really affects higher ISO film, and mostly if you put it through the scanner / on the plane repeatedly..

Is that with the new scanners? Assumed they are much higher power since they're designed to scan liquids etc inside the luggage. Anyway, not much to be done now, just annoyed as I'd been thinking about it in the preparation and just forgot in the moment.

Useful trial with images. I doubt the results are going to be noticeable worse with my dodgy exposing but I'll err over rather than under and try to remember on the way back!

..not sure whether we had this already, the second video from Pentax regarding their new analog camera(s) - in summary: they're going to bring out a compact, fixed-lens film camera with a manual winding lever 🙂

Great colors there!
I used accidentily an already used Fuji Superia 400, some interesting results (with a point and shoot, an Olympus AF-10):

I tried a similar thing like here https://www.35mmc.com/08/01/2015/olympus-af-10-super-review/ and put an Ilford Delta ISO 3200 film roll into this Olympus AF-10 point and shoot camera and it really works more or less good – this shot is straight after the birth of our daughter (well, 30 minutes later or so):

Anyone used a Kodak Retina IIIc or IIIC (and older?). Forgot I had one in the collection, found it in a market in Croatia or Bosnia about ten years ago, probably robbed off a German tourist many decades ago, in basically mint nick, used it for a few years then forgot about it. Have a pretty big fleet of folding RF's, mostly uncoupled, the retina is coupled and works a treat.
Just ordering up a pile of accessories for it as you can swap out the front element (50/2) for a 35/4 or a 80/4, which kinda ruin the point of it being able to fold and fit in your pocket. Loads of folk saying you need a matching serials on the additional lenses for it to work well, but IMO I think thats only for the 50/2 original lens, otherwise how would kodak ever sell you additional lenses? Are they any good or just stick with the bright little 50?
Also moving to Vietnam soon so debating which cameras to take with, most likely the retina, a 6x6 folding RF, 69 folding RF and maybe an olympus 35RC as its so small and handy.
Have a minty condition Kodak 18, which is a quarter plate camera, or 2x3 sheet film camera (You can still get it from Ilford I think?) which has some rise + fall abilities, again packs small and interesting to use. have no interest in dragging 10kg of vintage SLR cameras about with me over there. Vietnam has a massive film camera resurgence, quite a few labs, dev + scan for C41 into a decent fuji machine at full res is around £0.60>£1.50 depending on turnaround. Price of film is about the same as here though, possibly higher due to import duties in the country. -

I know nothing about Retinas (other than hearing people like them). I don’t have any experience of folders generally … but that’s about to change. I have an Ensign Selfix 820 (the Ross Xpres 105mm f3.5 and Epsilon shutter, no rangefinder version) coming to me in a couple of weeks. I have fingers crossed the list of issues is short.

$40 for a roll of kodak gold here in Queenstown, NZ.
45 for Ultramax.
Bloody hell.
Just put my luggage through the new "3D scanner" at the airport and didn't think to ask for film to be hand checked :/ How bad is it? The film is all 100 and 200iso.
Any advice for how to expose it now? As normal? Tbf the films been at room temp for about 5 years so not exactly pristine.
