No worries, to be fair I went to London and happened to end up at Covent Garden so thought I would chance it at 5pm and low and behold they had this in stock

As it was my birthday it had to be done

But otherwise I had been looking at a Casio also

That Blancpain/Swatch release sucks because it gonna draw attention on Blancpain’s regular production, and they’re already expensive enough..

I like the square sub39 GMT but my watch budget is lower than my bike budget which is lower than my weekly lunch budget.

No level of heritage or historic significance can overcome the date window placement.

I think there has been like one FF reissue that wasn't either stupidly large or with that horrid date. Can't remember what it was called but I think it was quite limited edition. I really don't care for the Fifty Fathoms, personally, but I understand its historical significance. Don't hate Blancpain either.

I don't have my eye on anything at the moment, but there are lots of reasonably priced, 100m water resistant, watches on sale everywhere.

It’s likely you could. You’d need a competent watchmaker to replace all the seals and do a pressure test.
