Spam plug because … just starting precisionplank.Co.Uk
Loads of stuff in the works, but namely this… keeps your bike off the floor, recessed mini storage on top, fits the IKEA bag tray to catch dirt / drips, can be made as double or triple and so on…

Tidy.

That looks very smart, intrigued.

Thanks!
The hexa is my favourite, black texture / smooth, birch ply edges in raw wood so the aesthetic is quite nice!

Can you show one of these in use please? It sounds like it's what I'm after but can't picture exactly how it's used - probably me being dumb.

Yes. I’ll cut one tomorrow!

I'm intrigued by this from that VelocityPrintWorks
https://velocityprintworks.com/product/pre-2022-brompton-mid-stop-block/It sounds ideal for that annoying unfold when pushing it around and you go down a kerb or something but I assume there must be some other compromise that goes with it?

Keep seeing posts like this… how can you be consistently making decent stuff unless the workshop is pristine?!

Gotta say I had imagined you differently. Good job matching your socks to your nail colour, real commitment to detail.

Hahaha! We pride ourselves on nail colours!

Do people have a recommended inner tube? I have a slow puncture to get fixed at the same time I change tires. Thanks!

Pretty much all the same. Old tech, hundreds of makers. Conti if you like splurging, CST/Decathlon/Halfrauds are usually cheap and cheerful, Schwalbe are good but avoid the ultralight ones unless you like wasting money and time.
New TPU ones are good as an emergency spare (25g vs 110g) but lose air quicker.
Also, top tip, buy a spare to keep inside the frame. More than once I’ve heard a Brompton owner complain they tried to get a puncture repaired and the local shops didn’t have 16” tubes.
Folding is more easier, but the construction is a little weaker than a non-folding.
Maybe just get better tyre levers?
