Earplugs?
Fortunately I’m already partially deaf and don’t ride with my hearing aids in. Earplugs would mean no situational awareness

The bit of the shoe which the cleat bolts to...is it rock solid? Any movement in it? Maybe you could remove the cleat and just put the bolts in on their own, so you can get some purchase on the fitting and give it a good wiggle.

You always hear a lot of whining from those centrist parties

My money is on the rubber sole rubbing on the pedal platform. I think you'll probably have to live with it until the soles wear down a bit.

I might try a different set of pedals (I’m not keen on them anyway).

Are 1 and 2c euro coins legal tender? I brought a load of old euro change to Italy, now realise that everything rounds up or down to the nearest 5c.

I need a restaurant recommendation, we're looking for somewhere that will take 5-8 people + small dog on a Sunday and importantly be well priced. Somewhere in London, ideally near a tube station

My gp 4 seasons are shot. Any deals around on 700 x 28-30c tubed tyres for general road use? Annoyingly I missed the boat when places were selling off the GP5000 non-tubeless stock.

They’re legal tender.

Doesn't sound as good in Italian as Scottish.

Is putting 30c gp5000 on my road bike, which I’m going to do some TTs on, a bad choice?
It’ll still be my general road bike as well. Or is moving up to 30c a bad idea for speed (compared to the old 25c Gp 4 seasons I had on)? -

Should be fine if fork and frame clearance are good.

Obligatory Didn’t know we had half zones in London, 1/2 must be ultra-exclusive. That or you’re a wizard, which is unlikely otherwise why would you need it to be near a tube?
Dishoom in Covent Garden. Double check the dog policy though.

• #118545
Just re-read, Dishoom probably not = well priced (£££).

We'll be doing public transport so I don't care if it the place is in Borough or Notting Hill as long as it's not too far a walk from a tube station.

Thanks. I realised it's only about 20p worth.

We have a full day in Milan tomorrow. Don't know the city at all - any recommendations? We're considering getting the train to Como for the day.

Any recommendations for a really nice soft wool blanket? Looking for a present for my wife, she loves a really soft wool, but hates when a bit scratchy. Anyone have any suggestions?
Maybe dirt between cleat and shoe or cleat and pedal? Maybe cleat or sole are not quite the right shape because of a manufacturing fault?
