Next question is: does anyone know how 105 r7000 cranks are manufactured? Are they two halves bonded together like 6800 cranks?
Are they bonded together with an epoxy in a similar fashion to the fanciest Hollowgram cranks?
I want to do the same again to black r7000 cranks but wondering whether the caustic soda would react with what ever bonding agent is used and risk a potential failure?
