i'm not sold on it yet. but I'll give it a chance still.
having just watched first 100 ep of the animated show on crunchyroll it feels very inferior.
the editing and acting in a lot of places (esp when they they change perpective on camera angles and it's poorly cut so you notice the actor is doing the line in isolation breaks immersion massively and it happened a lot) feels like a bbc fantasy drama (merlin etc) levels of production, which is not a great look for these days.

First episode of One Piece is excellent.
Reviews saying it’s the first good live action manga adaptation and I believe it after e01.
