Basso Diamanté MAAP edition 56cm

Selling one of my most favourite road race bicycle ever, the Basso Diamanté MAAP edition.

The fit is 556 stack and 395 reach with a 110mm stem, come with carbon handlebar.

Weight a tidy 7.25kg without pedals.

It barely seen bad weather let alone rain (got rain on twice in its lifetime), and the original chain have zero wear, so I fitted a new one (Ultegra) just now after degreasing drivetrain.

I have just given it a service at work, it now got new Swissstop BXP pads, Specialized S-Work Turbo tyres in 26mm, brand new Specialized saddle that should work for everyone and fresh cork bar tape.

Wheels are Campagnolo Zonda, Wright about 1550g tubeless ready (no spoke holes), bearing is butter smooth, rims have zero wear (as in not even concave) as I was riding with Koolstop pads previously, freehub still sound lovely and crisp but not insanely loud.

The bottom bracket and headset is also buttery smooth, chainset is 50/34 170mm and 11-28t cassette, I have made sure the chain is long enough to fit a 11-30t cassette (max).

It is full Ultegra groupset.

Sadly no, not anytime soon, considering modern bike cost go up way faster than inflation and pay.

What year is the frame .i know that is a 6800 ultegra groupset i got that on one off my bikes.

Yup, a 2018 Diamanté (purchase in mid 2017)

Performance wise surprisingly little difference between 6800/R8000 so didn’t feel the need to upgrade it.
