Very late but...
Salvia - probably hot lips or something in a slight pinky red. Obvs you can go with what you like tho.
Purple sage - you'll have to cut it back every so often to keep it under control, but I wouldn't call it invasive.
Hollyhocks - depends how long you'll be there as they take a few years to start.
