Depends how marginal you want to get with a two wheel setup and how big you want the tyres for riding around the canals. You could quite easily do both on the Mavics with 32c tyres.

Thx (just realised posted question in this not general section 🤦♂️) - I'd like 40mm min for gravel riding, as may venture to some more rugged areas every so often. For road I was thinking 28 or 30mm max. Are Ksyrium SL viable option for 40mm or is better to go for gravel specific wheels with wider internals?

Jumped on the Cycle to Work scheme and got myself first ever new (gravel) bike which I specced with Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels .
Looking for a sound advice on alternatives to use as road set up with some 28-30mm road tyres - shall I get something like Hunt 4 Season gravel wheels and use Ksyriums as road or get a set of road wheels instead and keep existing set for those canal path rides? Other wheelsets recommendations for around £500 mark?
