The lens I currently have is a 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6. I also have a 35-100, but it's far too bulky for travel and I think not quite right for my purposes so will be traded in. I'll have a look at something around 18-55 when I do the trade in! Travelling super light, so keeping the camera compact is a big priority.

I know some people love them (I do too!) but if I had to choose a single lens I’m not sure it’d be a prime, but a short telephoto (18-55 cropped // 30-90 FF) is my favourite) as it gives much more options especially if you’re using it for travel. That said if you have this and want another lens then a you can’t beat a prime for simplicity and small form factor (in general) in my view. Just choose one that’s nice and fast (f2 ish) for good low light performance and that smooth bokeh
