  • We’ll be offering a Vigorelli, an End to End / Audax, and an Olympus in set sizes from 50cm to 62cm. We’ll be building in 725 as a default, this offers significant improvements over 631 at a relatively small price difference. 853 will be an optional upgrade.

    We are putting together a frame shop team and production will be headed up by Steve Woodrup, these frames will be hand built in Leeds where Bob Jackson belongs.

    Audax/End-End in Reynolds 725 with standard lugs and all appropriate eyelets - £1585.
    Vigorelli (singlespeed/fixed) in 725 with standard lugs will - £1550
    Olympus (road racing) in 725 with standard lugs - £1585
    Each of these frames can be upgraded to Reynolds 853 for £150

    I respectfully disagree that this is a relatively small price difference. I bought a 631 Vigorelli in 2018 for £560, which included several custom options. £1550 is near treble the cost!

  • The 560 you paid in 2018 was not allowing them to be a functioning company.

    If you want a similar frame for ~560 you can get a steamroller, but as you have already mentioned they aren’t the same quality so you should not be surprised (or upset) that the price is different.

    I count myself lucky to have bagged that frame before they folded (and then resurrected).

    The Steamroller is still a really good frame. I'd happily ride one again.

  • It was functional. They didn’t go bankrupt, they just lost staff to retirement irrc. Woodrup saw value in the name and now need a return on investment. @BobJackson correct me if I’m wrong.
