Forget OTP stuff, it’s all overpriced and under specced. Especially ENVE.
Take a look at LightBicycle and create yourself a proper custom wheelset with the exact rim profile you want/‘need’.
If you are ok to wait a little while (sounds like you’re waiting for frame anyway) get online and spec and price up.
You won’t be disappointed, unless of course you are actually looking to waste £000’s, then go buy ENVEs. -

Light Bicycle are great and I really rate Venn rims. A pair of their top of the range Var rims on CK hubs with CX Ray's should be about £1400 or £1100-1200 with 240's with uk based warranty and servicing. Better than all the Zipps I've had.

Thanks all… the timescale is a bit tricky for a LightBicycle as the other parts are arriving next week (organised, me?) but the Venn might be an option. Will do some more research.
The cost/value parameter was really why I was looking secondhand/ nearly new. Some ‘brand’ sets do turn up at £1000-1500 on the dreaded eBay. -

If you go for a Venn set Dave at DCR wheels is your guy. I'll always plug him but he's got a good reputation on here. Good wheels aren't always fancy and fancy wheels aren't always good yet we still want them. The bling factor still carries way more weight than it should. Good luck with your search whatever you go for the new bike promises to be sweet 👌

Above comments are absolutely right, no one can argue otherwise. LB just makes so much more sense, enve and zipp are complete marketing bollox.
Only a complete idiot would spend money on brand new branded enve/zipp etc wheels… 🙄Having said that, I’d maybe part with my zipp 303 nsw wheelset!

Here’s a plug for Martin @ Arkane Wheelworks
London based and super nice guy 👍
Hi all,
Got a new frame incoming, for road disc, Shimano 12-sp Di2, and looking for wheels, centre lock, suited to 28-32mm tyres, typical road thru-axle.
Would love Enve/King SES wheelset (3.4/4.5) but now only available custom built and way out of my current wallet’s grasp as ‘new’.
Thought I’d ask here in case anyone is thinking of moving a set, or similar, on.
Cheers
