The time has finally arrived to reluctantly depart with this oh so fun, oh so shiny, super light and strong aluminium frame, as a strict 1 in 1 out policy is in force :/
An ebay purchase from 2014 (to replace a Hardrock pro in the same size) I’ve kept the 26er alive with just about all mod-cons a 26er could handle, (was running axs just before the tear down ^_^ actually worked!)
Alas I’m moving on and hope another shredder can keep it enjoying the single track life.
Was also an absolute hoot on Brother in the Wild this year where I would disappear off down the rocky flinty descents - FUN.
Looking for:
£150 for the frame
Comes with hope headset in good condition and a new derailleur hangar, and actually hope seatclamp in blue not pictured. As you’ll see there are canti brake bosses on the frame, last owner modified the bolt to become a brake hose guide - clever.
£100 for the Rockshox Revelation 426 Air U-Turn 130mm QR forks. 208mm steerer.
These were fully serviced by TF Tuned in 2021 and actually have never been plusher, with only a handful of Peaslake visits and BITW since (full suss has replaced the trail riding, i held out as long as i could!) Also comes with remote lock-out not pictured.
£120 for the DT Swiss X1700 disc wheelset Inc rotors and maxxis high roller front + high roller dh casing rear tyres. Shimano/sram freehub (ran 12spd with the axs on a sunrace cassette).
Based in SE5 but can meet locally/ central/ within reasonable distance.
