I put in a 50kW combi which could have run out house and our neighbours on each side, purely for the litres/min flow rate. Wildly over the top from a “how many radiators” calculation.
One person can now have a fantastic high pressure shower for ever, or one person can have a decent shower and another can run the bath no problem.

Placement isn’t an issue for us, as the whole back of the house is getting ripped out and re-vajazzled.
Just trying to work out why so many people swear by system boilers, when to my lay mind a suitably-sized combi would just give us unlimited hot water on demand without any tanks or timers…
