If you go for a Venn set Dave at DCR wheels is your guy. I'll always plug him but he's got a good reputation on here. Good wheels aren't always fancy and fancy wheels aren't always good yet we still want them. The bling factor still carries way more weight than it should. Good luck with your search whatever you go for the new bike promises to be sweet 👌

Thanks all… the timescale is a bit tricky for a LightBicycle as the other parts are arriving next week (organised, me?) but the Venn might be an option. Will do some more research.
The cost/value parameter was really why I was looking secondhand/ nearly new. Some ‘brand’ sets do turn up at £1000-1500 on the dreaded eBay.
