Its kind of simple to use the disc converter. Also bought a new fork so quite some money spent, but on mine the wheels were dead and I got a bargain dynamo wheelset so it maybe made sense.
Are there any mulis around where you are? If long John and short is the plan those are great, and very popular in Berlin.

Im really not a mulli fan, I dont like their accessory setup and The weight limit is too low. Also our kid is getting crazy tall fast. (3yo taller then 5yo cousin) im not sure its a good option for us. There is a ukranian "bootleg" thats a little bigger and uses dual 20" wheels. Wife is renting a bullitt this week to test, so may just end up buying a bullitt. But there cover also sucks for taller kids so will need to get a tall box that way also.

Thanks. Glad to see the simple option works. My wife wants to switch from her Nichola to ideally a shorty long john. Bakfiets or is:y seem to be the only good options for this. Unless I come across a bullit cheap enough to get cut into a shorty (but thats more of a pipedream.)
