Meera Sodha has a good rasam recipe which uses either four or six large fresh tomatoes (it's the one in Fresh India called Temple Tomato Rasam, not the pumpkin or red cabbage ones online). It's really easy to make and quite light.
I can't find that recipe online and I'm not at home, but Swasthi's Recipes are usually very good.
