A cyclist has been hit by a fire engine responding to an emergency call in south London.
Police and emergency workers cordoned off the junction between Coldharbour Lane and Atlantic Road in Brixton after the incident just before noon on Wednesday.
Paramedics treated the man, thought to be in his 50s, who was seen lying on the road before being lifted him into an ambulance.
He was taken to hospital with a head injury. His condition has not yet been confirmed.
Afaik making a recovery. The rider was wearing ANC headphones and fire engine was on blue lights call, unfortunate circumstances but glad he was not worse off.
