The Rando' is a partnership between Kirkstall-based brands that have deep roots in the Leeds cycling community; Kirkstall Brewery and Restrap.
A brevet event with a twist, the Rando ride draws from the spirit of Randonneuring, where the focus isn’t speed, but having a great day out on the bike, meeting new people and taking in spectacular scenery. The £20 entry price will grant you a beer at each pub, when the brevet card is stamped.
Riders will tour the Kirkstall Brewery pubs, starting out at the Kirkstall Brewery, and riding out to their newest pubs - The Narrowboat in Skipton. The ride then heads back to the Brewery via The Black Horse in Otley, up and over the famous Otley Chevin, to the Three Swords in Horsforth and back to Kirkstall.
Restrap and Kirkstall have planned a route that takes in some of the best riding in the Yorkshire area. Touching the edge of the Yorkshire Dales with a route that serves to work up a thirst for riders by offering punchy and challenging climbs throughout, along with stunning views of the Yorkshire countryside.
Riders will receive a can of Rando beer for completing the ride, a beer brewed specially for the event by Kirkstall Brewery.
Beer and Pizza supplied at the end of the ride by Kirkstall Brewery, allowing riders to rest their legs and refuel after an epic day in the saddle.

This route is shorter, but promises to be more challenging.
Minimum 35mm off-road tyres would be required for this route.
Kirkstall Brewery
Kirkstall is steeped in a rich history of brewing, from the local Cistercian monks who began brewing at the abbey in the 12th century to the original Kirkstall Brewery (1833-1982). In 2011, we resurrected the Kirkstall name and got to work brewing a range of cask and keg ales, always with quality and innovation at its core. We are proud to uphold the highest brewing standards. We currently boast several pubs, including our brewery taproom, serving our beers from source since January 2020.
Restrap
Founded in 2010, Restrap specialises in technical bikepacking gear, for all kinds of bikes and all kinds of riding. Our aim is to inspire the world to ride further, and get the most out of traveling by bike. All our products are hand made in Yorkshire, where we design and manufacture everything in-house. We design, build and ride all of our products with functionality and durability at the forefront, allowing us to bring the best cycle luggage to our customers.
