Cabinet carcassas going in today. It's kind of like purchasing a bike frame and all components seperatly and then standing back and watching it all come together at the bike shop not know if it's going to look shit or not.
Got used to all the spare space.
Oh wow you're going full height cabinets - we've got a similar size kitchen and don't think we could cope with counters on one side only. Also space feels even narrower. But we have quite a lot of kitchen storage overflow into the next room.
i know it probs isn't all bolted together yet, but plastic flooring shims/spacers were a godsend for us to get units square (thinking about aligning the unit to the back door frame/edge)
Can't remember what your design was for those full length cupboards but it's worth considering putting some internal bracing in if you can - ours bowed out (not sure if that's the right spelling - warped) in the weeks between installing the carcasses & later putting the plywood covers on.
