The part number is VBK0087. A quick search brought up this place, but they're out of stock currently. If you're near an R&M dealer, they should be able to get you one.

I ended up drilling another hole in the steering mast insert. One more step is almost too much as the taper of the clamp just barely buts up against the QR collar. Fit is pretty ideal though, so I think I'll switch the QR out for another 5mm bolt collar.

Got the Purion installed. Really happy with the look of the more stripped down cockpit:

Next thing is going to be shortening/bundling the lines now that everything's installed. Would really like just two bundles in the end. Currently waiting on some 40° hose adapters for the levers, we'll see if they end up being necessary.

Other than that, I think the first phase of this project is coming to a close. There are some more superficial upgrades I'm considering (such as a set of Hope cranks) but there isn't much remaining that bothers me functionally.

Added the suspension seat post (£63 import charges. Fuck) and the integrated basket / bars.

Had to chop both the seatpost (double fuck) and the stem in order to get everything to fit.

Rides lovely though. First nursery trip tomorrow am.

Hamax Caress is a nap machine! Combine it with a Tucano Urbano Opossum when it gets colder.

How's this going? I've upgraded my seatpost to sus one, loving it. Next is to convert it to a belt drive.

Fuck. Had my battery nicked again (second time in six months). Clearly there’s some easy way of getting these batteries off, I can’t see any signs of tamper.

That's alarming. It's a standard Bosch fitment on pretty much any eBike.

Was it definitely clicked down securely? I assume they're either picking the disc detainer lock or shimming it.

Yeah def locked. I think there’s a shim way to pop it off. This was in Hackney, previous time was in Central.

Expensive. And I’m not sure what to do going forward. Gonna be annoying to have to take the battery off every time I use it.

Maybe get something fabricated? A metal band that stops it being lifted with another (decent) lock.

I'm actually selling mine.

£2,750 for anyone interested (minus the Hamax). Less than 400 miles on the odometer.
