Difficult repair but not impossible. Might be easier to replace the chainstays too, would make access a lot easier.
Probably financially non viable unless the frame has significant meaning to you.
Could blob a load of braze over the top of it but it won’t penetrate the crack with any significance so would need to sit proud and would it do anything to stop it growing…maybe…probably not.
It’s unlikely to dump you on the road if it fails so continuing to ride it while monitoring the crack shouldn’t be too high risk.
The bike’s developed a bit of a creak and I’ve found a hairline crack on the bb down tube lug
Not really sure but think I can make it move a bit by flexing the cranks
I’m going to sand back the paint to see what the metal looks like but if it is a crack is it fucked?
Can you just fill something that that or is it new bb and tube/ weigh it in time
